Blake Austin College Fights and Believes in Vacaville’s Relay for Life
Vacaville, CA (May 25, 2012) – Blake Austin College is proud to announce their participation in the upcoming event Relay for Life on June 23, 2012 held at the Vacaville High School
Football Field. This 24 hour event begins on June 23rd at 9 a.m. and continues through June 24th until 9 a.m.
Relay for Life’s goal is to raise money for the American Cancer Society in order to benefit various cancer programs in hopes to celebrate many more birthdays. This year, the Blake Austin College relay team, FIGHT. BELIEVE. SURVIVE., has a total of 30 participants including students, staff, friends, and family and the group is growing . The college’s goal this year is to raise $3,500 in hopes to fight back. “We are very confident that we will reach our goal in order to help the strong individuals battling cancer today. We want to give them the hope and faith they need to celebrate more birthdays,” stated Joanie Reed, CEO of Blake Austin College.
