It’s time to get excited because graduation day is almost here! You’ve worked so hard to get here and now it’s time to celebrate. From finishing up your last homework assignments to making sure you spend time with teachers and other students, you’re going to have a lot to plan. We know you’re going to be busy and that’s why we want to help you with something that can’t be skipped- how to do your hair with your graduation cap. It’s an easy step in the planning process to overlook, but you’ll be so happy you prepared for it when your hair looks amazing on your special day. Read more to see how you should wear your hair on graduation day!

Beachy Waves

This classic look is a great way to wear your graduation cap while also showing off your long, gorgeous locks. Beachy waves will help give your hair the extra volume it needs to make a lasting impression. The best part about this style is that there’s no need to worry about your hair’s look after you’ve tossed your cap in the air. Even without it, the beach waves will ensure that you look stylish through all the graduation celebrations!

Side Braid

If you’re looking for a hairstyle that will stay out of your face so you can concentrate on making those memories, then a side braid could be perfect for you. There are so many different braids for you to try out, which means that picking which style you want is half the fun. Whether you want a french braid or a fishtail braid, this hairstyle will look amazing with your graduation cap. No matter which braid you choose, you’re sure to give off that effortless beauty look we all aspire for.

Sleek Bun

There’s so much for you to do on graduation day and that’s why a sleek bun could be perfect for those who want an easy style to do in the morning. Just remember to add lots of bobby pins and your hair should be set for the day! We love this hairstyle because not only does it look incredible with your graduation cap, but it’s also a practical way to wear your hair in the summer heat.

Rolled-Under Ends

Rolled-under ends is the latest trend and they’re a great way to give your hair some personality under your graduation cap. Not only will this give your hair some beautiful style, but it’s also super easy to do. Just take a round brush as you blow dry your hair, make a slight blend as you reach the ends, and you’re ready to celebrate with your friends. If you really want to treat yourself for graduation, then consider going to a salon for a blowout to achieve this look. You deserve it! There’s no need to worry about keeping your hair in place or what it will look like when you take your cap off. Whether you have long or short hair, you’ll look great pulling this look off.

Tousled Lob

Don’t worry, we didn’t forget about you ladies with shorter locks. Like long hair, there are so many different ways you can wear your short hair on this big day! One of our favorites is the tousled lob, which gives you a natural look that’s easy to pull off. This look gives your hair a lot of texture, which is why it’s great if you’re running out of time and just want to spray on some dry shampoo. After combing through the curls to get those loose bendy waves, your hair has some beautiful extra volume. Just like other hairstyles on this list, you can take off your cap and not worry about messing up your hair. We love this hairstyle with a graduation cap and we think it’ll look amazing with your bangs poking out.
