Five of Our Favorite Nail Trends
When it comes to nails, the sky’s the limit. From nail art and glitter to acrylics and gel manicures, there’s so much you can do with your nails! While we love a lot of nail trends, we’ve picked five of our favorites from 2019. Check them out!
Foil Nails
Try something bold and metallic this season. Foil nails have been a huge trend on the runways for spring 2019. Pieces of transfer foil are placed over painted nails that complement the foil color. This trend is chic, fun, and looks especially great when it catches the light.
Pastel
From hair to clothing, pastel is a huge trend this year. And nails are no exception. Paint on a coat of pastel pink, green, blue, or purple. You can even deck it out with some delicate floral nail art or try getting pastel acrylics. While this color is a springtime staple, it’ll look great throughout the summer and even into autumn!
Subtle Glitter
Glitter is great, but sometimes it can be a little overbearing. To add some subtle sparkle, try glitter French tips or one dainty line of glitter in the center of your nails. You can also apply a layer of clear-based glitter polish all over your nail rather than something colored and opaque.
Graphic Art
Get a little graphic with your nails! Graphic art can be anything from minimalistic lines and dots to stars and triangles. This trend can be created with just black nail polish but if you feel like getting colorful, a touch of bright yellow also looks great.
Plaid
Love plaid on your clothes? Try it on your nails! Plaid nail looks look super impressive and can be done with any color you want. No need to stick to traditional red or green plaid. Try it out with pink, purple, yellow, blue, or whatever your heart desires.
